Operation Connect is a program that gives back to those who served our country. Our mission is to connect transitioning service members to business leaders, owners, and influential people in the community.
Veterans are future captains of industry, leaders, and model citizens in our North San Diego community. They will enrich our local economy for years to come and are a community asset deserving of investment.
Key Program Components
- Complimentary, professional development training
- Connection to business leaders through complimentary networking opportunities
- Mentoring from a North San Diego Business Chamber Member
Operation Connect is a program offered by SDNEF that provides a business environment for transitioning service members to connect with business owners, professionals, and community leaders through free business networking events.
There is no cost to veterans who participate in the program.
Transitioning military personnel must either be within two years of separation from the service OR have been enrolled as a student since separation.
For questions or more information please contact Dylan Fisher.
Chamber Members experience profound gratification in assisting transitioning military personnel by being a Mentor in Operation Connect. Mentors volunteer by meeting their mentees at Regional Connect business networking events and showing them how to expand their professional network. They also serve as a resource and connector to other local businesses and leaders.
Mentors must watch a one-hour mandatory training session and must be a Member of North San Diego Business Chamber.
For more information on becoming a mentor, contact Brianna Eltzroth.
