About Us

History

Rancho Bernardo Chamber of Commerce (now North San Diego Business Chamber) began San Diego North Educational Foundation as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization focused on helping high school students prepare for their futures in the local workforce.

By 2009, SDNEF was running a successful soft skills and mentorship program for high school students and found participants internships with local businesses.

Today

SDNEF now focuses on the emerging workforce–community college and trade school students, and high school seniors–offering programs to bridge the life skills gap by giving them the knowledge they need to connect with San Diego employers.

Strategies for Success is a leadership certification program with complimentary professional development training on soft skills such as Leadership, Teamwork, Communications, Time and Money Management, and more. Click here for more information.

SDNEF also manages Operation Connect, a program that gives back to those who served our country. Our mission is to connect transitioning service members to business leaders, owners, and influential people in the community.
